A chegada do Tempo (de Alma Welt)

Envolto em trevas o Tempo Negro vem
De penumbra dolorosa carregado,
E um silêncio triste encomendado
Preenche os ares de sinistra nuvem.

Desconhecidos entre nós os seus sinais,
Malgrado a carga de experiência
De tempos idos todavia mais fatais,
Nos enchem de um pavor quase demência.

E eu, que o Tempo Oculto bajulava
Através deste meu polido espelho
Agora o ouço bater a minha aldrava.

E vejo pálidos fugirem meus amigos
Pelos fios do meu cabelo tão vermelho,
Toda a plêiade dos meus deuses antigos...

So that my eventual friends of the English language can enjoy:

The arrival of time (by Alma Welt)

Wrapped in darkness, the black hour arrives
Of painful charged darkness,
And a sad silence ordered
Fills the air with an ominous cloud.
Its signs are unknown to us,
Despite the load of experience
From days gone by, however, more fatal,
They fill us with dread, almost insanity.
And I, that hidden time flattered
Through this polished mirror of mine
Now I hear him hitting my knocker.
And I see my pale friends running away
Through the strands of my hair so red,
All the infinity of my ancient gods...

And now a free transliteration with rymes:

The arrival of Time (by Alma Welt)

Wrapped in darkness, the black hour arrives
Of painful charged darkness as knives,
And a sad silence ordered aloud
Fills the air with an ominous cloud.
Its signs are unknown to our existence
Despite the load of experience
From days gone by, however, more fatal,
They fill us with dread, almost insanity, at all.
And I, in that hidden Time in flattered way
Through this polished mirror against all odds
Of heard him hitting my knocker, came the day.
And I see my pale friends running away
Through the strands of my hair so red and gay
All the infinity of my ancient gods...
